Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy, or Essential Oil therapy, can be defined as the art of utilizing essential oils to balance, harmonize and promote the health of body, mind and spirit. This time tested therapy seeks to support the individual’s innate healing process through physiological, psychological and spiritual means. Aromatherapy is often considered to be solely an aromatic and/or physical application of the essential oils but can be used internally under the guidance of a trained professional.

I utilize essential oils in many of my healing services depending on the need of the client. Essential oils are one of the highest vibrational supplements you can use to raise your body's frequency, when of a good quality, so they are a tremendous addition to your self-care routine. I also offer individual coaching and speaking opportunities for essential oil education.

What are essential Oils?

Have you ever enjoyed the scent of a rose? Then you have experienced the aromatic qualities of essential oils. These naturally occurring, volatile aromatic compounds are found in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers, and other parts of plants. They can be both beautifully and powerfully fragrant. Essential oils give plants their distinctive smells, they also protect plants and play a role in pollination. In addition to their benefits to plants and their beautiful fragrance, essential oils have long been used for food preparation, beauty treatment, and health-care practices. Essential oils can be used for a wide range of emotional, physical and environmental wellness applications. They can be used as single essential oils, in oil blends or diluted with carrier oils like fractionated coconut oil depending on user experience and desired benefit.

"Aromatherapy is a caring, hands-on therapy which seeks to induce relaxation, to increase energy, to reduce the effects of stress and to restore lost balance to mind, body and soul."
~ Robert Tisserand
